Matt Chesnut joined Space Florida in December of 2018 as a member of the business development team. Utilizing his experience in economic development in Florida, Matt works closely with economic development organizations, airport organizations, and local governments in utilizing Space Florida’s tool kit in the attraction of aerospace companies. Matt’s role also involves working with aerospace related businesses who are considering locating or expanding in Florida.

Dr. Kent Halverson, principal scientist and senior director at Aptima, Inc., boasts extensive expertise in performance management, multi-modal measurement, training design, social network analysis, and quantitative data analysis. He has led research on various topics, including eVTOL human-machine teams and adaptive training systems. With a Ph.D. in business administration, he has held faculty positions at prestigious institutions like the Air Force Academy and the Air Force Institute of Technology.

About Teresa Pace, Ph.D.
Teresa Pace, Ph.D. is an engineering fellow at L3Harris, with expertise in AI, computer vision, image processing, and more. She earned her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Penn State, holds 14 patents, and authored over 80 publications. A distinguished IEEE fellow, Teresa served as president of IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society, and received prestigious awards like the Lockheed Martin Nova Award and HKN Outstanding Engineer of the Year. Her career spans leadership roles at Lockheed Martin and DRS Technologies, and she’s made significant contributions to the field of image processing.
